Project Description
Texans Helping Texans
Hurricane Harvey was one heck of a storm and did a terrifying amount of damage — roughly $125 billion. Hundreds of thousands of homes were affected and nearly 30,000 people were all of a sudden homeless.
At this time, we were gearing up to kick off our usual Rudy’s Pink Cup campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Everything was set and ready to go, but as things developed with Harvey we knew there was no way we could simply pretend it wasn’t happening. Instead, we quickly created the Texas Strong “Cup for a Cause” campaign.
In a matter of days we created the main cup design, ordered shirts, launched a website, produced a video, a set of emails, social posts, and even in-store materials.
In the end, we were able to raise over $150,000 and pass it along to some organizations that could help people get back on their feet.
